Abortion access is a team sport.

Football is played everywhere because it’s simple: a ball and two rocks for goalposts are enough to start a game. No big field, no fancy gear. Just people showing up, all over the world, making it work.

Misoprostol (the most commonly used abortion medication in the world) is common, versatile, and the worldwide MVP of abortion access. With misoprostol, good info, and someone in your corner, abortion can happen outside of clinic walls and without interference from politicians and courts.

We believe abortion access can happen anywhere, as long as we have a strong team. The International Abortion Club is for everyone who is ready to build community around abortion access, and find ways to contribute. We are doulas, hotline operators, activists, doctors, harm-reductionists, lawyers, researchers, and neighbors. We’re the cousin who answers at 2 a.m, the friend with snacks and a hot water bottle. We pass across borders and time zones. We sub in when someone’s tired. We celebrate every goal—every person who got the abortion they needed—and we keep going.

Governments will move the goalposts. Courts will change the rules. Our team adapts. We find another field.

This isn’t charity, and it isn’t a solo fight. It’s a global pickup game with a serious, beautiful mission: free, safe abortion, wherever it’s needed. Forever. Together.

Let’s go. We saved you a spot.
